Refunds can be really difficult and messy to handle when they really don’t need to be. Rest assured we do our utmost to help you get the product that you love. Talk to us, we are all human and mistakes/errors do happen. Luckily we got your back and will help wherever we can.
Below is our Refund and Returns Policy, please go through it and chat to us – we are really here to help.
Overview
The following is an overview and exceptions to returns can be found below. We will not return or refund any customized products, if a product is defective it will be returned and a warranty repair will take place within the manufacturers warranty procedure.
Products which are NOT defective or damaged or which you have found to be unsuitable, can be returned within 10 working days. You are entitled to cancel the sale in terms of Section 44 of the ECT Act within 10 working days after your receipt of the product, subject to a 5% fee in respect of return and handling fees.
MyersCNC / MCStamps can hold you liable for any damages caused to the products whilst it is in your possession.
IMPORTANT! We will not return/refund any non defective product purchased in error that has been opened.
Additional non-returnable items:
- Customized stamps
- Any customized and engraved products
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
We do NOT refund bulk purchases made in error.
We reserve the right to reject any returns with cost if we were mislead to the fault on the product.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. We prefer to EFT refunds and generally will request your bank details. If you are requesting a refund for a company we will need the request on a company letterhead.
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded. Standard manufacturer warranty repair still applies.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at sales@mcstamps.co.za and send your item to our offices – address to be provided upon exchange request and assessment.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
Shipping returns
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
